A Giant Awakening

We have used our free time during the lock-down and been busy building our very own interactive Bayview Hotel App.

Recently we have all became more and more reliant on high speed WiFi and devices to keep in touch with family and friends, we certainly are living in the digital era of smart phones & tablets with multiple devices in each home being used for multiple reasons.

There are hundreds and thousands of apps available to download ranging from games for kids & the big kids among us, cookery, home learning, news, social media, shopping, banking, this list is endless and in being confined to our homes we find our smart phones and device screens have become a little bit busier with apps used to keep us not only entertained but informed.

Apps are designed to be a functional and convenient way to communicate information to the app user and for the user to access information easily.  Our new app is designed to simplify things for the user whilst planning their trip to the Causeway Coast with everything at their finger tips.

Having the app on your smartphone or device will allow you to make reservations for accommodation, dining & spa treatments, purchase gift vouchers, view overnight offers and restaurant menus or simply chat to us.  The app is also designed to act as a concierge in your pocket when you are on your trip with the ability to check local weather and tide times, buy tickets for local attractions and excursions or book tee times at many of the world class golf courses on the Causeway Coast.  Helping to keep you safe and to limit touch points you can use your own device to browse restaurant menus safely without having to use shared menus whilst in our restaurant or bar area. 

Users will also receive notifications directly to their device detailing priority access to exclusive experiences and offers.

The app is available on both Apple App Store and Google Play Store for android devices, simply search for 'Bayview Hotel' with download available for both smart phones and tablet devices.

As part of our recent investment we have installed interactive televisions in all our bedrooms.  From the comfort of their bedroom guests are able to access hotel services, information and restaurant menus.  World news and world radio in many different languages and a music library are also available with the touch of a button.

Guests can also order a wide range of food & refreshments, request a taxi or a leisurely late checkout via the guest services menu and our guest service agents can communicate instant messages and information to all guests or personal messages individually. 

This system allows us to instantly communicate and update hotel information, menus & services without endless printing and wastage of paper.  The system helps part of our sustainability promise which is to reduce paper usage and waste.  

Our priority is guest comfort and satisfaction and we believe that this interactive system enhances every guest's stay.
